Roblox has recently introduced a new subscription tier called Roblox Plus, which replaces Roblox Premium. Is it really worth converting though based on your needs? Let's find out!
Roblox Plus users enjoy a variety of new benefits that existing Premium subscribers do not get, while still keeping all the benefits included with Roblox Premium. We'll be going over each one below!
One of the biggest features of Roblox Plus for the average player is that making a private server under any game is now free. While subscribed, you can create an unlimited number of free private servers for yourself and your friends, saving a significant amount of Robux and eliminating the worry of accidentally being charged for servers you may have forgotten about.

Roblox Plus subscribers can enjoy a 10% discount on most Roblox purchases involving Robux, including username changes. The only place where the discount does not apply are for buying limited items. After being subscribed to Roblox Plus for two full months, you'll receive an even larger 20% discount across the marketplace.

Roblox Plus introduces the ability to safely transfer Robux to anybody on Roblox without any fees. For regular users, the transfer limit is 500 Robux per day and 1,000 Robux per month. But for users who are in good standing and have 2-step verification enabled, they will be able to transfer 5,000 Robux per day and 10,000 Robux per month. Users under the age of 18 will need a parent to authorize or accept any Robux transfers from other users regardless if they are trusted friends or not.

Roblox Plus subscribers will receive a new Roblox Plus icon on their profile and ingame. The icon is similar to the Premium icon but features a thinner and less blocky design.

Like Roblox Premium, users will unlock the ability to trade with Roblox Plus. A benefit over Premium is that the ability to sell classic clothing, UGC & more is now available at the base tier of Roblox Plus instead of being locked at Premium 1000, making it cheaper for creators to keep existing items on sale. It also gives creators the ability to publish games for free after two consecutive months instead of paying 1000 Robux.

Roblox Plus surprisingly doesn’t have any major downsides or missing features compared to Premium. The biggest limitation right now is payment support. Currently, Roblox Plus can only be purchased using a credit card or PayPal, with no support for Roblox gift cards. Roblox has said gift card support could arrive in the coming months, but at the time of writing, that option still hasn’t been released.

While Roblox Plus does offer better features, the default tier no longer comes with a monthly Robux stipend. And now Prices for the Robux tiers have also slightly increased.
For Example:
Roblox Premium 500 previously cost $4.99 USD. The base tier of Roblox Plus is priced the same, but adding a 500 Robux monthly stipend now increases the cost to $8.99 per month.
Roblox Premium subscribers will lose two perks on May 30th. Current subscribers will no longer be able to get a 10% bonus Robux on purchases, and the premium icon will be disappearing from both the playerlist and profile.
One of the other downsides to Roblox Plus is that Roblox has decided not to grandfather Lifetime Builders Club/Premium memberships into Roblox Plus. However, if you buy Roblox Plus you will not lose your lifetime premium and Roblox allows you to now stack two subscriptions.
Whether Roblox Plus is worth it highly depends on what you do on Roblox and how much you want to spend on a subscription.
