Forged during the waning years of the High Republic, the Aegis of Concord shoulder plate was commissioned for the Jedi Task Force — an elite division of Jedi Knights charged with operating in volatile war zones, shadow conflicts, and high-stakes diplomatic interventions beyond the Core Worlds. Though Jedi traditionally eschewed armor to better connect with the Force, the Task Force required minimal protective gear for battlefield resilience.
