Brown Jedi Task Force Shoulder Plate

At its center lies a subtle engraving of the Tython flame, representing the original Jedi homeworld and the eternal flame of enlightenment. Surrounding it is a ring of seven notches, each one marking a Jedi virtue: peace, knowledge, serenity, harmony, empathy, courage, and discipline. The plate is usually alloyed with songsteel, a rare material that vibrates when struck by the Dark Side, warning the wearer of imminent danger or deception.

Only Jedi who have undergone the Trial of Shadows—a secret rite where one must confront the darkest truths of the Force—are permitted to wear the shoulder plate. It is said that the armor "remembers" each Jedi who has borne it; during meditation, wearers often claim they hear whispers of wisdom or caution from those who came before.
