Throughout the Viking era, the Island of Man was used as a base of operation for Viking invaders of the Irish and English shores. In our alternate timeline, the Isle of Man never signs the 1266 Treaty of Perth and does not become a part of Scotland, but rather declares itself its own independent kingdom. Since then, the new Kingdom of Man has become a prosperous trade hub connecting the British Isles thus growing its industry and development immensely. Having joined the Coalition to combat the trade embargos set by France, the Kingdom of Man sends its elite armies of Merceneries to fight for glory in their name on the battlefields of Europe! For the glory of Man!
