Description
The Ethiopian Empire is an East African empire which has existed since 1270, with Addis Ababa serving as its capital. We succeeded the Zagwe dynasty, with the first Queen establishing the Amharic "Ethiopian Empire". Our dynasty claims descent from King Solomon, but we adhere to Miaphysite religion We have fought off Italians, Arabs, and Turks for most of their history, and allied with Portugal against the latter two in the 1500s. Now it is the 19th century. After a period of civil war Ethiopia is once again united and looks outward to the wider world.
