For a period spanning four centuries, the world's oceans were ruled by ships of sail. The very beginnings of modern history were birthed from a period of innovation, exploration, and warfare.

Project Windward strives to recreate the world as it was during the era of sail. Participant players and nations are able to write their own stories in an alternative form of history during the era of the Napoleonic Wars.
