The UNSC serves as humanity’s military and governing authority in the game "Halo", managing colonies and waging wars. Initially focused on suppressing rebellions, it was soon forced into a desperate fight against the Covenant. Its Navy, and Marine Corps were crucial in preventing humanity’s extinction. Even after the war, the UNSC remained dominant, facing new and evolving threats.

The United Nations Space Command is currently composed of two primary branches: the Marine Corps and the Navy, each with distinct roles, divisions, and specialized units. The Navy oversees space operations, fleet command, orbital defense, and logistics, while the Marine Corps is responsible for ground combat, planetary defense, and rapid deployment.
