Studio has merged with Hassaku Productions!

StraightCut Studios (formerly known as Drivetrain Studios) is an American independent video game development studio on the platform founded on April 10, 2023, by Kakumei Adorosa. The studio was primarily known for the development and release of DriveLine X, which released its first prototype to the public on June 4, 2025. In September 21, 2025, Kakumei announced his departure, which led Younavers to be the CCO & Managing Director of the studio. Under him, the studio was renamed to StraightCut Studios on December 23, 2025. On January 31, 2026, Younavers announced his departure from the studio. Kakumei succeeded him as the CCO & Managing Director again, which led to DriveLine X shutting down on February 27, 2026.
Eventually it was merge under Hassaku Productions, making StraightCut Studios defunct.
