     We are an elite legion of trees who are... Trees...

     We create oxygen so that the humans and animals can breathe, and in return, the humans and animals create carbon dioxide so we can breathe. 

     But the humans aren't just our friends. Many of them are our enemies. There are humans who want to cut us down, and murder us, but they are foolish. They do not know that if they keep cutting us down, we will become extinct, and everything will die. You see, if we die, humans and animals die. If humans and animals die, other plants die. There will be nothing left.

     But there are advantages to being a tree. Some of us can live to be over 5,064 years old. And if we die, we do not just die. Some of us become beautiful decorations in people's homes. In old times, we actually WERE humans homes. The humans would cut us down and use us to make cabins. And people sometimes still do that. So if we die, it is often for a good cause.
