The Grand Army of the Republic is an army of clones issued by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas on the planet of Kamino roughly 10 years ago with the aim to defend the Republic and its interests. 
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The clones were lead ultimately by the Supreme Chancellor and Clone Commanders. They fought the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Separatists for the fate of the Galaxy.
