The Commonwealth of Massachusetts

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is a US State located in the northeastern region of the country. Throughout history, Massachusetts has lead the country in both social and political reform and is a world leader in biotechnology, engineering, higher education, finance, and maritime trade. Massachusetts is one of only four states whose political systems were founded and structured for the common good; which is why  it is formally called a commonwealth instead of a state.
