The Worm Cult, also known as the Order of the Black Worm, is a group of powerful mages that hail from all around Tamriel, primarily specializing in necromancy. It's leader, Mannimarco, ascended to godhood during the Warp of the West, becoming the Necromancer's Moon. Whether operating as a military force or from the shadows, the Worm Cult has existed throughout Tamriel's history as a very powerful and dangerous force. The Worm Cult is most known for the events of the "Planemeld" during the 2nd ERA when the Daedric Prince, Molag Bal, attempted to drag Nirn to his realm of Coldharbour.
