Ethikon meaning:
Ethikon is a term rooted deeply in ancient Greek philosophy, rhetoric and dramatic theory, and it carries a meaning that is much richer than the modern word ethics suggests.
Ethikon comes from the greek word êthos, in early greek, êthos was not about rules or morality in the modern sense. It referred to a deeply ingrained character, something formed over time by repeated action.

The adjective ēthikón literally means:
"pertaining to character" or "that which concerns disposition"

so ethikon is not about judging what is "right or wrong", but about the nature and quality of character itself
