The American Revolutionary War started in the year 1775, initially due to rising tensions between the American British colonies and Great Britain. Out of the conflict eventually stemmed the Continental Army which ultimate goal became to fight for the liberty of a new country. The British Army was dedicated to the defense of Great Britain and in service of His Majesty, King George III, helping to control the outrage of the then hostiles.
