Description
The Archdiocese of Crete, which was established and inaugurated in October 2022 with the participation of Archbishop Manos, Emmanuel I. This Greek Archdiocese is Orthodox and is the successor of the former jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. After the retirement of the first Archbishop, the Archdiocese is now headed by Archbishop Alexander I.
