The Imperial Army is the main force of the Emperor’s side in the Boshin War. Born from the alliance of Satsuma, Chōshū, and Tosa, our soldiers fight with discipline and strong spirit to end the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate.

In the years 1868–1869, Japan is split by civil war. The Emperor calls on loyal men to defeat the bakufu armies across Honshu and restore true imperial power.

With loyalty and courage, we fight as the Emperor’s army and the protectors of a new Japan.
