The Mayflower National Guard was unofficially established in December of 1771 during the uprising against Pax Britannia as militia from Pax Britannia Mayflower, responsible for the fall of Lander City in January of 1776. After the uprising against Pax Britannia, the Mayflower National Guard was unofficially organized into a series of regiments garrisoned in Lander City, with all serving with the Union during the Columbian Civil War. The Mayflower National Guard was formally organized in July of 1903 with the introduction of the Home Guard Act, and was organized into a series of divisions under the Bureau of Army. Today, the Mayflower National Guard acts as the state-level military force of the State of Mayflower, and may be called upon by the President of the Union of Columbia to deploy in support of federal efforts.
