Shintō 神道 was formed in the spiritual wake of Tokyo’s destruction. While chaos consumed both ghouls and humans, the faithful turned to the kami — divine spirits said to dwell in all things. Led by the will of Amaterasu, goddess of the sun, and Tsukuyomi, god of the moon, Shintō believes that power and harmony must be reclaimed through discipline, reverence, and battle.
