After the humiliating defeat in 1807, the French and their subordinate allies in the Rhineland left a black mark on Frederick the Great's once-feared army. In its wake, the traditional military conservatism that has plagued the stagnant army has been swept away; in its place, a citizen's army rises in feverish contempt against their French occupiers.

The year is now 1813. After Napoléon's crushing defeat in the 1812 Russian Campaign, the Prussian Army mobilizes itself to face the French Empire. Prussia must now muster a formidable Army to defend its borders and restore balance across Europe.
