◈ The Church was formed out of the remains of the German Orthodox Metropolis of Roblox, after it was disbanded. The remaining clergy went to find refuge in the Czech and Slovak lands, thus continuing the local Orthodox tradition therein. The real Church was founded by Saint Gorazd after his ordination in Serbia and blessing to conduct services in the language of the people.
