Whistler Transit System

Whistler Transit System was founded by TranslinkGuy, Tzu and SneakyChickenhead1 on July 3rd, 2025.

Brief History.
The transit system in Whistler began in December of 1991, and started with 5 buses. Whistler is home to one of the largest ski resorts in North America, and it was a venue during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. During that time Whistler received many public transit infrastructure upgrades, such as a new bus depot, and 20 new hydrogen buses that were in service until 2014. After the withdrawal of the hydrogen fleet, Novabus LFS units were used to replace the hydrogen vehicles until the installation of new CNG fueling stations in 2017. Today, Whistler has one of the best resort municipality transit systems in North America and still uses CNG buses to this day.
