𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 Oriented around tactical squad-based battles, Hæren provides a unique experience to anyone who wishes to join the ranks of the Danish Army. While in service, soldiers can expect to be trained for various jobs to utilize in battles. These jobs include but are not limited to: infantrymen, grenadiers, mortarmen, pioneers, and logisticians. 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 Under the Army Act of May 7th, 1937, the Danish Army established two divisions with a number of new, unique units. During this period, the Danish Army had an annual intake of 6,000 conscripts for 11 months of service. After the outbreak of the Second World War, the Danish government issued a mobilisation of 30,000 reserve troops, bringing the Army to a theoretical total of 55,000 troops. At the time of the invasion on the 9th of April, 1940, however, only a mere 15,000 troops were available, with 7,000 in the Jydske Division and 7,600 in the Sjællandske Division. 13th Battalion, 2nd Regiment 1937-1943
