Orange County Fire Rescue (OCFR) is a fully integrated Fire, EMS, and Technical Rescue department serving the residents and visitors of Orange County, including three incorporated towns and surrounding rural communities. OCFR responds to structural fires, medical emergencies, vehicle extrications, hazardous conditions, and search-and-rescue operations. Many firefighters hold dual certification as EMTs or paramedics, enabling advanced life support on every call. OCFR collaborates with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Indiana State Police, and local park rangers to ensure coordinated countywide response. Our mission is to protect life, property, and the environment through professional emergency response and community preparedness.
