📌Imperial Household Corps 🌿Cesaret ve Disiplin. The Kapıkulu Ocağı, or Imperial Household Corps, was a central military institution of the Ottoman Empire composed of elite troops directly serving the Sultan. Established in the 14th century, it included the famous Janissary infantry, cavalry units, and various support corps. During the Napoleonic Wars, the Kapıkulu forces still formed the core of the Ottoman military, though they had declined in discipline and effectiveness. Resistant to reform and often involved in political intrigues, the corps became a major obstacle to modernization efforts. Despite this, it remained symbolically and structurally important until its dissolution by Sultan Mahmud II in 1826 during the sweeping reforms of the Ottoman army. 🥁REGIMENTAL STRUCTURE 📯Yeniceri Ocagi 📯Sekban Yeniceri 📯Cemaat Yeniceri 📯Bölük Yeniceri
