Since group IDs have existed, they were assigned sequentially, each new group received the next available number in order. However, in June 2025, Roblox quietly ended sequential group ID generation. Since then, newly created groups receive randomized or non-sequential IDs, marking the official end of group ID sniping and cementing this group as the final sequential group ever created
