Here we discuss the games, features, and other things related to the Playstation™ systems.The original playstation system was to be an add on for the SNES. It was ti give the SNES CD games much like the SEGA CD. plans didnt fall through and nintendo closed the contract. sony wanted to used what they learned and make a video game console for theirselves dubbing it the playstation and leaving out the space. nintendo sued and lost.thus the holiday year of 1994 it was released in japan and was a resounding success! same followed with the north american and PAL launches. becoming the worlds best selling console of all time until its big brother the playstation 2 was released.
