Aphrodite's major symbols include myrtles, roses, doves, sparrows, and swans. Aphrodite is not a daughter of an Olympian, she is the daughter of Uranus, Zeus' grandfather. She has been deemed an Olympian by Zeus, even though she's a generation older and powerful.
