Historically, the Austrian Army was composed of two army groups, the Nordarmee (247,000 men) to face Prussia and it's North German allies, and the Südarmee (190,000 men) to face the Italians who had aligned themselves with Prussia with the promise of Austrian expulsion from Italian lands.
