The First Order, also known as the Order, was a hermit state and military junta that emerged during the era of the New Republic, approximately three decades after the fall of the Galactic Empire. It was led by Supreme Leader Snoke until he was killed by his right-hand man Kylo Ren who assumed the title of Supreme Leader of the First Order.
