Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. is one of the four major airlines in China. Hainan Airlines was registered in Hainan Province on October 18, 1989 and formally established in January 1993. In 2009, it became the first SKYTRAX four-star airline in mainland China, and in 2011, it won the title of SKYTRAX "five-star airline". In 2021, Liaoning Fangda Group became its strategic investor.
