The Brotherhood of Steel is an isolationist, technocratic, quasi-religious paramilitary order dedicated to preserving and controlling all pre-war technology. Founded shortly after the Great War that destroyed mankind, the Brotherhood has seen firsthand the consequences of dangerous technology outpacing morality. Their newfound mission has grown from a small bunker of pre-war soldiers to numerous chapters across post-war America. Now their crusade takes them deeper into California and Nevada in an effort to keep devastating weaponry out of the wrong hands.
