Roman "Grawert" Helmet

"Hear me... for we are in Crisis!"

The "Grawert" style of helmet was introduced in the late 2nd Century AD, with it and its variants becoming the most iconic look for soldiers during the 3rd Century Crisis. These helmets, though protective, serverely limited head movement and vision of the soldier. As such, this helmet did not survive more than a century, as the eastern-styled "Ridge" helmets began to introduce themselves in the late 3rd Century. The "Grawert," is made from brass, and is used by auxiliaries,  legionaries, and cavalry alike.
