The Dujeong-gap (頭頂甲) is a ceremonial and practical armor piece from the Renaissance-era Joseon Dynasty in the 18th century.
Worn by military marshals (Wonsu, 元帥) and high-ranking commanders, this unique armor is mounted on the upper torso and extends upward to protect the crown of the head.
Unlike typical helmets, the Dujeong-gap rises from the body itself, representing both authority and battlefield readiness.

두정갑(頭頂甲)은 18세기 르네상스 조선 시대에 등장한 고위 무관의 전투 갑주로, 조선 왕조의 원수(元帥) 계급이 착용하던 상징적인 방호구입니다.
