장전(長箭)은 조선시대에 사용된 전통 전투용 긴 화살입니다. 편전처럼 통아를 사용하는 짧은 화살과 달리, 활 위에 직접 얹어 쏘는 일반적인 전투 화살이었습니다. 활의 힘과 화살의 무게가 잘 맞아야 위력이 제대로 발휘되었으며, 갑옷과 투구를 뚫을 수 있는 관통력을 갖춘 군사용 화살로 사용되었습니다. 조선시대 무예 훈련과 군사 시험에서도 장전 사격이 평가되었으며, 이 모델은 실제 전통 화살 유물과 조선 궁시장비 자료를 참고하여 제작했습니다.

Jangjeon was a traditional Joseon long war arrow. Unlike Pyeonjeon, which required a tong-a guide tube, Jangjeon was shot directly from the bow as a standard military arrow. Its power depended on the proper match between the bow’s strength and the arrow’s weight, allowing it to deliver strong penetration against armor and helmets. Jangjeon was used in Joseon military archery, martial training, and archery examinations. This model was recreated based on traditional Korean arrow artifacts and Joseon archery references.
