Makeshift Chrono-Deviator

An improvised piece of equipment cobbled together in a makeshift workshop on Eden-227 with nothing but basic tools, haphazard welding, damaged equipment, and broken electronics. 

Chrono-deviators are special pieces of headgear that allow a user to account for timeline diversion, drift, and other factors when dimension-hopping over into another universe. These ones, however, can barely predict anything, even with a well-tuned crystal.

Hundreds of these were quickly produced on the field when regular Chrono-deviators broke down due to extensive usage and battle damage, and with nobody to use them after NHI's Voyager Detachment #148's disasterous first expedition on the planet, the remaining ones that still worked are now being sold off on the market.
